Debbie Chen, DDS
Dr. Chen has a wealth of experience from her work in both private practice and the Veterans Administration, where she proudly served those who have served our country.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, then pursued her residency at the Veterans Affairs Sepulveda Center in North Hills. Impressed by her clinical expertise and compassion, upon completion of her residency her mentors recommended Dr. Chen for staff positions at both the VA and a private practice in Valencia.
Over the next ten years, Dr. Chen served patients with a wide variety of backgrounds and health issues as she split her time between the VA and several private practices across Southern California. At the VA she not only provided comprehensive dental treatments, but also coordinated with medical colleagues to care for patients with complex needs, including those undergoing radiation treatment for head and neck cancers. She found fulfillment giving back to the dental community there as well, mentoring upcoming dentists in the general residency program as well as the hygiene students in training.
Dr. Chen is passionately committed to providing not only high quality service but also compassionate care, especially to those fearful of dental treatments. She holds a BS in Chemistry from UCLA, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and counts dancing and sampling new restaurants among her hobbies. She is skilled in all areas of restorative and cosmetic dental services, and loves being a part of her patients’ lives through dentistry.
